My second dragon design, from some years after college. I don't really remember when I came up with this one, but its design is a lot simpler than my previous dragon.
This one is mostly just a traditional paper crane, augmented by folding in the corners first. These corners become the short legs. The traditional crane's wings, head, and tail are then shaped to be more dragon-like. The body's central peak is tucked down to form a flat back.
All in all, it's not a very original design, but the fact that it's fundamentally similar to the ubiquitous traditional crane is sort of artistically satisfying in and of itself.
